After sucessfully passing the Ga Tech qualifications exams, Ms. Aurele Balavoine has been admitted as a PhD student.(November 2008)

Mr. Joannes Pezant Class of 2008 (Rennes campus) and currently an MSc student at Georgia Tech won first prize in a student poster competition. His work was entitled "An Examination of Trailing Echoes in Tapered Rods". More info on http://www.ece.gatech.edu/media/awards.html (July 2008)
