Degree Courses
Supelec first and second years
The department of power and energy systems is in charge of the following courses that every student at Supélec receives during his first and second years :
- Principles and various elements of electrical engineering (1st year)
- Electric energy processing and conversion (2nd year)
- Electrical motor drives control (2nd year), in collaboration with the department of "automatic control"
Each course represents 18 hours of classes, 6 hours of exercice classes, and 4 sessions (18 hours) of laboratory classes.
In addition, the permanent staff of the department is involved in several specialized courses, such as "magnetic materials and magnetization" or "liberalisation of the electricity industry and economic analysis."
Furthermore, the department of power and energy systems supervises a number of synthesis project and design project.

Supelec third year
The department of power and energy systems is in charge of three third year curriculums:
- "Power systems" (SE)
- "Energy conversion" (CE)
- "Energy" (ENE) in collaboration with the Ecole Centrale de Paris.
Master programs
The department of power and energy systems is also involved in several master programs:
- Master "Physic and energy engineering" (PIE)
- Master "Networks industries and digital economy" (IREN)
- Master "Nuclear energy" (MNE)
